The Jazz standards canon has remained largely unchanged since the 1970s. This group of long-time area musicians decided it was time to reimagine it for the 21st century! The result is The Hip Replacements, a post-genre jam band playing funk-rock-jazz mashups of recent hits. The group reinvents songs from artists such as Sam Smith, Sting, Lewis Capaldi, Maroon Five, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Silk Sonic, The B-52’s, John Mayer and The Weekend and many more.
