Strawberry Daiquiri

A Full Strawberry Moon will crest the horizon on June 6th and reach full phase on June 13.  It was so named by the Algonquin tribes who knew it as a signal to gather the ripening fruit of wild strawberries.

We like to make some of these delicious, plumb fruits into a "wild" strawberry daiquiri!

6oz Villa Milagro Vineyards Rosita wine
3freshly picked strawberries - frozen
1large, ripe fresh strawberry for garnish

Put the Rosita and frozen berries in a blender.  Blend until you have a nice slush.  Serve in a cocktail glass garnished with a large ripe berry.

Best part.......has less than half the alcohol of a normal daiquiri made with spirits.  So refreshing you will want a second - and you can without getting a buzz!!
